Well, hello and welcome to my blog!!! 😊

I’m Sheena, founder of Sheena’s Hair Design, which is a salon in Illawong, Sutherland Shire, Sydney, and it’s so nice to meet you 😊 As often happens, I was inspired to open a hair salon in August 2018, after a big trip to Colombia, South America… it always amazes me how a trip to an unknown place can completely clear my head and help me see straight! 😊 Up until then, I had been working my butt off for other people, and probably not being treated with the respect that every person deserves. All the same, I worked hard, and honed my craft, although, you NEVER stop learning… honestly, you should see the photos and videos on my phone… they’re nearly all of hair and makeup, not of my friends and family hahaha! 😊

Enviro friendly… like many people of my age… getting anxiety over the state of our natural environment, so therefore a sustainable salon

Animal friendly… Redken trained, but discovered they test on animals, so chose Pravana instead… any hair and makeup product sold in china is not cruelty free due to the laws

Want to empower women and have them leave with a big smile on their face, shoulders back with more confidence and ready to face the world again.
